Day FIVE

A picture of somewhere I've been:

I picked Daytona International Speedway. Tom and I rode his GSXR1000 to Bike Week in Daytona, FL when we lived in Orlando. It was a blast! My butt and back hurt from the long ride but it was worth it. This trip was one of the few places we were able to visit while living in FL. Tom was a F/T student and I was working a retail job so we didn't have much money.

Day FOUR

A habit that I wish I didn't have:

I think both Tom and my Mother would agree my biggest bad habit has to do with my clothes. LOL. I don't know why but my clothes hardly ever end up in the closet where they belong. They accumulate in the bathroom, the bed, the floor, everywhere but where they should be. It doesn't help that I went from having a HUGE walk-in closet in Florida to living in a garage with a tiny closet to this! I guess it's a pretty decent sized closet but I'm thinkin that one of my requirements when we buy a house is a walk-in! ;)

This picture is of a group of friends that cared enough to come to my going away party in July 2008, before Tom and I started our cross country journey. Not everyone made it in the picture, but they all know who they are. I love you guys and am glad I am back to make more memories with you all!!

Day TWO

The reason behind my Blog name: "Looweeeeez"

Well, it's my name. Just spelled a lil differently. Most spanish-speaking people pronounce my name wrong. They say it like "Luis" or "Louis". Looweez is the correct, french way to pronounce my name. It's even on my license plate!

Day ONE

A recent picture of me & 15 interesting facts:

1. I was a vegetarian for 6 years until I became pregnant.
2. My hair is naturally curly and I usually wish it wasn't.
3. My favorite kind of music is hard rock and I LOVE Rob Zombie.
4. I love taking pictures but have never owned a decent camera and end up taking 99% of my pictures on my Blackberry Bold camera phone.
5. I was born in England and have a Green Card.
6. I hate cold weather and wish it was 90 degrees out all the time.
7. I'm more stressed out as a Mother than any "job" I've ever had.
8. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so tall at 5 foot 9 1/2 inches.
9. I love animals more than most people and get angry when others don't spay/neuter their animals, breed, and don't rescue pets.
10. I have 3 dogs and they're all rescues.
11. I have lived in 2 other states besides California {Florida & Texas} and never want to leave again. Although I loved Texas more than I thought I would.
12. Much to my friend's and family's surprise I moved across country with a boy I barely knew. Ended up working out but I still wish I hadn't. Went through hell and back.
13. My Mom lives in Bolivia and I talk to her more than my Dad who lives in Orange County.
14. My Dad is a world famous jazz musician and has some crazy fans. Lol.
15. I am 6 years older than my boyfriend but nobody can ever tell.
